Price

Package

The rental is an "everything" package and not broken out by feature. The price includes, whether you use it or not, use of the lake, lake amenities, the lodge, bath house, camping areas and any location that is not a private residence. Your group will be the only group booked during your stay, and the lodge and your assigned camping areas are reserved for your group. Members of the Watson family may be present elsewhere on the property from time to time.

Price and How to Pay

The group rate is $325 per night, which covers the first 10 campers, both youth and adults. For head counts exceeding 10, add $11 per camper per night.

Example: 15 campers — $325 + (5 campers x $11) = $380 per night x 2 nights = $760 total price.

For groups of 10 or fewer, $325 per night is the minimum. One adult leader is required for every 5 youth.

Be sure your head count is accurate and committed, as there are no refunds for persons who do not show. If more campers attend than were initially paid for, an additional payment will be required for the increase.

A 20% non-refundable deposit ($152 in the example above) is required to secure your reservation. Once your reservation request is received it will be entered on our calendar as a Pending event. To secure the reservation and change the status to Confirmed, please remit your deposit by paper check payable to Leroy A. Watson, Jr., Trustee. The mailing address is provided by email when your reservation is acknowledged. Please alert us by email when you place the check in the mail.

The Process

  1. Send us your reservation request (see the Reservations page).
  2. Upon receipt we add your request to the calendar as a Pending event and email you a preliminary invoice.
  3. Remit the 20% non-refundable deposit as shown on the invoice.
  4. Upon receipt of the deposit we change your reservation status to Confirmed and email a deposit receipt showing the remaining balance due.
  5. The balance is due on or before the first day of your stay. Please do not physically hand a check to the host.
  6. Upon receipt of final payment we email a final Paid in Full invoice/receipt.

The reservation hold period for receiving the deposit is 21 days from the time we acknowledge your reservation request. If the deposit (or notice that it is in the mail) is not received within the 21-day hold period, your reservation will be re-opened and made available to other clients.
